The movie is about a team of superheroes set in the alternative 1960s, in retrofuturistic New York, different from the city in the usual Marvel movie universe. Most of the filming took place in the UK at the famous Pinewood Studios. Additionally, filming took place in London, which allowed the city's architecture to be used to recreate an alternative New York of the 1960s, as well as in the county of Dorset, whose landscapes were used for impressive scenes with natural landscapes. The movie's geolocations extend to Spain as well. Princess Letizia's futuristic congress palace in Oviedo served as a location for filming scenes in Reed Richards' laboratory. And of course, New York, where the movie takes place, was also used to create authentic city scenes reflecting the atmosphere of the Fantastic Four comics.

Scene was shot over Liberty Island in New York City. Liberty Island, located in New York's Upper New York Bay, is one of the most recognizable symbols not only of New York City, but of America as a whole. It is home to the famous Statue of Liberty, which served as a welcome to the millions of immigrants who came to America in search of a better life. In the movie, in the plot of which New York is threatened by a cosmic danger on a planetary scale, the filmmakers simply could not do without the iconic panorama of Liberty Island. This symbol of freedom and hope acquires special significance at the moment of the impending disaster. Scene was shot at the Palacio de Congresos Princess Letizia in Oviedo. It is a modern architectural landmark in Spain designed by the famous architect Santiago Calatrava. Located in the city of Oviedo on the northern coast of Spain, this complex includes a convention center, an exhibition center, two office buildings, a five-star hotel, an underground shopping mall and a parking lot. The building is notable for its futuristic design, characterized by its elliptical shape, covered in glass and steel, and the use of white, which is typical of Calatrava's work. The choice of location as Reed Richards' laboratory is due, firstly, to the futuristic yet elegant design of the building, which echoes the retrofuturistic aesthetic of the movie. Secondly, the scale and diversity of the Palais des Congrès' facilities make for a convincing and multifunctional laboratory where Reed Richards could conduct his experiments and develop innovative technologies. Finally, the architectural features of the building, such as the large domed roof and spacious halls, add to the visual appeal of the movie.
